Valuing volunteering – the truth!

Did you know that 130,000 hours are given by volunteers each week across East Sussex? But who says so and why?! We all know volunteers do not come for free. Don’t we?! This forum will explore the true cost behind involving volunteers and shed light on ways in which organisations can estimate the ‘added value’ that involving volunteers brings. It will be a useful opportunity for anyone in receipt of, or applying for funding to work with volunteers to consider whether or not you are truly covering all your costs.
